Unpeeled and Out of the Pod... Who Am I?

I am passionate. In a way that I have yet to harness, but truly don't want to.

For those of you who have seen P.S. I Love You. I can best explain my reasoning behind starting my blog by using a scene and quote from that movie (one of my all time favorites).
Gerry and Holly have just met and they are walking in Wicklow National Park. She is nonstop rambling with a big smile on her face about her grand plans for her life and exclaims...

All I know is, if you don't figure out the"something," you'll just stay ordinary.

And it doesn't matter if it's a work of art, or a taco, or a pair of socks.

Just create something new and there it is.

And it's you, out in the world, outside of you.

And you can look at it, or hear it, or read it, or feel it...

...and you know a little bit more about you. A little bit more than anybody else does.

I remember watching that scene and thinking, I get that. I know exactly what she means. I too have this huge yearning to make and be a part of something bigger than me.

As I write this... I am 22 years old and a recent college graduate with Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Like Holly, I too believe that my business is to create. I ignite when I communicate with people who can become excited over ideas and have creative, intelligent, open minds. I have a constant pull on my heart and feeling in my gut that I was given a voice (a very loud one) for a reason. And though my elementary teachers my disagree, I do not believe that the reason was for me to be quiet.

I intend to use this blog for expression, to share big and small ideas and realizations, to create relationships and to learn more about myself.

Throughout P.S. I Love You and throughout many once young, open-minded, passionate people's lives they unfortunately lose their Holly in Wicklow Park. I intend to hold onto mine as long as possible and hope that by putting that down on (electronic) paper I am therefore making a commitment to myself to do just that.
